These bodies which encompass soul
cannot be both here at once
and here and there.
But love will bridge the there and here
so you-me soul will fill the gap
and here and now is us.
From brushing past to love-entwined,
from you and me to love-embraced.
The you-there me-here, you-then me-now
merges into timeless breath and spaceless mind.
Where you begin-end, I am there
and my begin-end knows no bounds,
as flesh to flesh and soul in soul
we linger in our shared beginning.
Rendered into Sunday sleep, the edges blur
to timeless knowing as it really is.
